A Wyoming-based teacher training center looks to create dozens of jobs in South Dakota.

Eleutian Technology is looking to hire 100 teachers within the next three months to work out of its newly opened Rapid City center on Cambell Street.

Educators will teach English as a second language to students around the globe. So far, 14 teachers have been trained and are working, while nine others undergo training.

In addition to helping people overseas, Eleutian hopes to stimulate the local economy.

"It's very important for the community as well as for our business," said Mike Moore of Eleutian Technology." We need to expand and we need teachers and so Rapid City is a fantastic place and the city is very business friendly toward us as a company."
