Toy drive kicks off Be Kind to Animals Week

The first week in May marks Be Kind to Animals Week nationwide.  The Humane Society of the Black Hills is holding a pet toy drive to raise awareness to this cause.

New or homemade cat toys and dog toys will be accepted at businesses around town.   While the Humane Society recommends lasting toys like Kongs or rawhides, anything will do.  Donations will be given to the furry friends at the Humane Society of the Black Hills.

You can drop of donations at the following locations:  Airforce Financial Services Center at Ellsworth, Century 21 Clearview Realtors, Dakota Business Center, First Interstate Gateway Building, Westside Hardware Hank, Mostly Chocolates, Paws Bakery, Petco, Petsmart, Pottery to Paint, Runnings and Tractor Supply Company.
