Justin Fanfarilli joined KOTA in October 2010 after having an unbelievable love of broadcasting his entire life.

 

Justin graduated from the State University of New York at Albany with a major in meteorology with emphasis in broadcasting. He also minored in geography and is a holder of the Certificate of Geographic Information Systems and Spatial Analysis.

 

Justin started his broadcast career when he joined radio station WRPI in April 2001, and has been their weekend morning show co-host for the better part of a decade.

 

In September 2008, Justin joined the weather department of WNYT in Albany, NY and worked behind the scenes doing graphics and learning the trade of the TV business. He also worked as an on-air meteorologist at WAMC, the NPR affiliate in Upstate NY and Western New England.

 

In his free time, Justin is an avid music collector and is a die hard fan of three New York teams: the Yankees, Rangers, and Jets.
