For some people in KTOA Territory this weekend provides a great opportunity to dress up as your favorite cartoon character and meet up with your fellow fans.
Around 600 people did just that earlier today at the Ramkota hotel ... As Japanese animation, or anime, fans from all over KOTA Territory gathered at the third annual So–Dak Anime Convention.
All of the favorites were represented, from Yu–Gi–Oh to Inuyasha to Sailor Moon.
Event organizers we talked to say that there will be plenty of activities in the eight rooms they have booked.
"It is a great big geek–fest to have a good time," said event director Shareece Tatum. "We do costume contests, music videos; we just do a lot of things with panels, voice actors. There's just a whole lot of activities non–stop."
The convention lasts until 5 p.m. Sunday.
