Meeting on bombing range clean up


A 30-day public comment period starts April 20th on the plan to clean up nearly 2,500 acres of Oglala Sioux land that was once a bombing range.

Also on the 20th, the Ellsworth Air Force Base Environmental Team and the Oglala Sioux Tribe Badlands bombing range office will host a meeting to inform the public about cleaning activities in the area.

The meeting on Tuesday starts at 1 p.m. at the Kyle Elderly Meals Center in Kyle.
