I pulled these out of the archives per a request from a grandmother......
I don't know an athlete that hasn't battled smelly shoes..........an easy fix is simply some NEW cat litter in socks that are tied shut and insterted in the shoes after practice........ the litter absorbs the odor and moisture quite well and is much less expensive than the inserts found in stores..
For those pulled muscles and sprains that occur so often, put 1/4 cup rubbing alcohol and 3/4 cup water in a QUART freezer bag....seal it well and put it in another bag.....just for safety in case it should leak..put in the freezer....... This won't freeze hard, its just slushy and will wrap around an injured arm or leg easily.
Please be sure to put a towel around the Ice Pack before you use it or you could cause a form of frostbite!!!
