These recipes were sent in by readers who own the mops with disposable pads (with reservoirs for cleaning solution) (which is quite expensive)
# 1.
1 cup non-sudsy household ammonia
1/2 cup white vinegar
Tap water to fill a gallon jug (recycled milk jug) Shake well & fill your mop reservoir
# 2.
1 pint (2 cups) rubbing alcohol
1 Tablespoon liquid dish soap
1 Tablespoon household ammonia
1 Tablespoon vinegar
Put above ingredients in a gallon recycled jug
Add tap water to fill the jug
DO NOT USE ammonia on wood or laminate floors.... use ONLY vinegar and water
You could also put the solution in a spray bottle and use cleaning rags if you don't own one of these mops (I don't!) It can be used on coutertops, mirrors, the refrigerator, stove and microwave.... one reader says she's used it for carpet cleaning in a pinch!
