The search for a missing South Dakota woman in Rock County, Wisconsin, is over.
A sheriff's official said today Paula Hayes showed up at her parents' house in Beloit.
Sheriff's officials launched an extensive search by land and air after the woman's car was discovered Monday in Turtle Township.
South Dakota authorities distributed information that the 59-year-old woman from Lead was missing and endangered.
The initial search early this week involved K-9 units, a State Patrol airplane and thermal-imaging equipment.
Lieutenant Todd Christiansen said today Hayes walked to Beloit after abandoning her car Monday and slept outside the past few days before showing up at her parents' home late yesterday.
