It's black Friday and that means shoppers search out great deals on gifts. It's a day where large retail stores open early in the morning.
However, in Sheridan at the smaller boutiques business doesn't heat up until the night time. To try and keep pace with the larger stores downtown stores in Sheridan participate in the annual Christmas stroll.
All the stores stay open late, and offer sales. Meagan Darnall says, "in Sheridan the downtown association Christmas stroll is huge for us. Brings out a lot of people in town, keeps people in Sheridan, or at least brings them back for evening."
