For South Dakota Sen. John Thune, the Senate's latest version of the healthcare bill is the "same old" legislation.
And, the republican says he is ready to plan and fight for a measure that, according to him, will finally attack "the real issue with healthcare: costs."
"We look forward to engaging in the debate. This is going to be a great epic battle for the future of our country," Thune said.
He adds that he wants a bill that gives patients more healthcare choices, and preserves the doctor-patient relationship.
