More people can be vaccinated at upcoming H1N1 clinics

According to the South Dakota Department of Health, the H1N1 vaccine will be available to more high-risk groups.  Effective Monday, all children ages 5 to 18, adults 19 to 24, and those ages 25 to 64 with chronic health conditions can be vaccinated.

As supplies increase, the general public can get the vaccine, and more clinics will be scheduled.

Here is a list of H1N1 clinics in South Dakota in November.

There are clinics in:

Rockyford at Rockyford School from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the 9^th.

Allen at American Horse School from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the 10^th.

Porcupine at Porcupine School from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the 12^th.

Deadwood at the fire department from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the 13^th.

Hill City at 421 Main Street from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the 19^th.  At the same times that day, there is a clinic in New Underwood at 300 East Ash Street.

And finally, another one is in Rapid City at 433 Mt. Rushmore Road from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the 21^st.

The H1N1 vaccine has arrived in Wyoming, but because initial supplies are limited many administration sites are not yet offering the vaccine.  County public health nursing offices are the best source for local information about vaccine supply and availability.
