Hundreds of students and parents wait to get their H1N1 shots Wednesday in what they said is a late effort to ward off the virus.
A line flowed out the door at St. Elizabeth Seton elementary in Rapid City as children and parents hoped the H1N1 doses wouldn't run out.
While many parents said they're happy they and their children haven't gotten the virus yet they think the vaccines should have come much sooner.
"I know a lot of the kids in the school system have already been exposed, have gotten the swine flu so I think maybe they could have done it a little bit earlier," said Parent Chelsea Tolly.
The clinic vaccinated about three hundred people.
There will be another free clinic Thursday at the Sturgis Community Center from 10-to-4.Comments Terms of Use: We welcome your participation in our community.
