A Rosebud Sioux tribal council member is accused of soliciting a minor and sexual contact.
Michael Valandra, 49, of St. Francis was arrested Thursday night in Rapid City.
He made his initial appearance in 7th Circuit Court Friday morning.
He was released on $20,000 bond late Friday afternoon.
Valandra serves in District Five on the Rosebud Sioux reservation which is the St. Francis area.
The Tribal Council President nor the Pennington County Sheriff's Office have returned our phone calls.
