Threat prompts Wyoming school district to cancel walkout

CASPER, Wyo. (KOTA TV) - Natrona County School District’s students were not able to participate in Wednesday’s National Walkout over school violence because of a potential threat.

Specific details have not been released but the Casper Police Department reportedly has several people in custody following a threat toward the schools.

As a precaution, the Natrona County School was in “lockout” while the Casper Police Department investigated the threat.
