Report on Active Projects sheets bring transparency

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA TV) - Transparency and openness is a goal Rapid City Community Development Director Ken Young is striving for when it comes to keeping people informed. A weekly Report on Active Projects (RAP) sheet will be available in addition to quarterly newsletters, detailing construction projects around Rapid City.

The RAP sheet contains information on projects and a phone number to call for more information.

“You see some construction underway and you are like, what is that? What are they building?” said Young. “This is why we have this sheet, so that you can find out what’s going on in that location.”

There are currently two openings on the planning commission for Ward 2 and Ward 4.
