UPDATE: RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA TV) - Update:
Rapid City police have identified robbery suspect as 29-year-old Nick Perry of Rapid City.

Original Story:
The search for the armed robbery suspect in a Rapid Valley neighborhood has now turned into a standoff with the Special Response Team involved.

The standoff is related to the armed robbery at Boyd’s Drugs earlier Wednesday.

That search prompted the Rapid City school district to place nearby Valley View Elementary and East Middle schools in “secure status” as law enforcement searched for the robbery suspect.
