Officials look for public input on I-90 project

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA TV) - The South Dakota Department of Transportation is looking for public input on several options being considered for Interstate 90 east of Rapid City. A meeting is being held Wednesday at the Comfort Suites Crown Room in Rapid City from 6p.m. to7:30p.m.

The purpose of the study is to improve current and future traffic conditions, as well as enhance the business development between Exits 61 and 67. One area of concern is the making the Exit 63 interchange accessible from all directions.

Three options will be given to the public with the cost of the projects ranging from 11 to 16 million dollars.
