Murder suspect reaches plea deal with state

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA TV) - Courtney Millhouse, a Hill City Man accused of killing Stacy Childers in August, has reached a plea agreement Thursday.

As part of the deal, Millhouse entered a guilty plea to aggravated assault. The imposed sentence of 10 years will be at the state penitentiary. Millhouse was also ordered to pay restitution. All other charges have been dropped.

Millhouse shoved Childers' head into the window of a vehicle, causing blunt force trauma. She was taken Rapid City Regional Hospital where she died from her injuries the next day.
