Local fans gather to watch World Series Game 7

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA TV) 176 years. That is the combined number of years since either the Cubs or Indians last won a World Series.

But that did not slow anyone down from cheering on either side.

Buffalo Wild Wings was packed with people, whether their favorite team was playing or not.

Taking a look around the restaurant, there were more Chicago fans than Cleveland.

The game was as dramatic as you could ever imagine a Game 7 to be, but after many ups and downs, the Chicago Cubs claimed the title.

"I think everyone in the city, regardless if you're a Cubs or Sox fan, I think we're all Cubs fans tonight. So, as a city, I don't know. It just kind of brings everyone together. I don't even know a word to describe it. It's just really, really exciting. It's just a fun time for the city of Chicago," Chicago native and Cubs fan Matt Miller said.

The Cubs are already the favorites to win the 2017 World Series.
