RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA TV) - Congresswoman Kristi Noem, was in the hot seat on Wednesday July 5, as voters grilled the Governor hopeful on current issues.

Climate change, planned parenthood, and education were some of the main topics addressed. But, the health care reform bill was the top priority on the people's list.

Rep. Kristi Noem says, "I reassured them that for the first several years of this plan, nothing would change. No insurance policy could drop them from their policy premium, nothing would change with medicaid...it would allow the markets to develop new polices that they could shop for, and give us an option to give us lower and more affordable."

When talking about education Noem said, "Those that do the best jobs providing education to our kids, are those that are closest to them."
