RAPID CITY, SD (KOTA-TV) - Earlier this month, TGI Fridays on Lacrosse Street hung a sign on the door apologizing for the inconvenience, but offering no explanation for the sudden closure of the Rapid City business.
One bartender, Zac Conger says it was a shocking call to receive at first, but has found it a blessing in disguise.
“I think that the biggest thing you can do is look to the future and take every problem as a reason to find something better, be better, or do better,” said Conger.
As for his former co-worker, he believes that they should not have any trouble finding new jobs as well.
“Everyone there was a strong team member, so I think that everyone is going to find good work,” said Conger.
Conger said that the Fridays location was starting to get hidden, and business was slowing down. The franchise was owned by Larson Companies of Michigan.
