RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA TV) A family of four crossing East North Street was hit by a car turning off Lacrosse Street.
Rapid City Police say two adults and children were hit. All four were injured and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident happened around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday.
According to witnesses on the scene the crash happened after a car heading south on Lacrosse Street turned left onto East North Street. The pedestrians were in the crosswalk when they were hit.
Police say the driver of the car, a 41-year-old woman, stayed at the scene and cooperative. Police do not believe alcohol was a factor.
Any potential charges to the driver are pending a full report from a crash investigator. A process that could take up to a week.
