At least four people injured in two vehicle car accident

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA-TV) - Emergency crews were on the scene of a violent two car crash in Rapid City on Wednesday night.

Police say a car was rear-ended at the intersection of Milwaukee Street and East College Drive about 8:00 PM on Wednesday.

Officer Cassen told KOTA Territory News the driver who caused the accident was going at a high rate of speed northbound on Milwaukee.

The driver has been detained, charges pending. At least four people, several who were in the street when police arrived, were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
