SPEARFISH, S.D. (KOTA TV) – Crow Peak Brewing Company began an expansion project that should be done in a couple of months.

The expansion adds about 1,200 square feet to the brewery. This will be enough room to add two 30-barrel fermenters, a Bright Beer Tank and a quality control lab, according to a release from the brewery.
“We’ve been working at capacity for a long time and need to expand to meet the demands of our customers,” said co-owners Jeff Drumm and Carolyn Ferrell.
Ferrell added that this will provide an opportunity to expand their market and open up the door to provide their distributors with additional products — a business venture, she said, that is long overdue.
Drumm is the head brewer and said the expansion will not only allow them to increase production, it will allow him to expand his list of craft beer.
