RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA TV) - A change of plea from a man who shot at a home in Chapel Valley last October.
Dayne Sturlaugson pled guilty March 13th, after an agreement with the state, to aggravated assault and domestic violence, discharge of a fire arm and driving under the influence.
All these charges stem from an incident back in October 2017, when he shot at a home on Rapid City's west side. Four people were inside the home at the time, including an ex-girlfriend.
Sturlaugson faces a maximum penalty of 35 years in prison and a $75,000 fine.
He is due back in court April 17th.
