The Rapid City Area Schools confirmed Thursday night that Holly Yamada of Black Hawk and Gregg McNabb of Valley View will not be returning to their schools.

The two were, for unreleased reasons, placed on administrative leave Feb. 25.

Former Rapid City High School Principal Deb Steele will continue to serve as Black Hawk's interim administrator for the remainder of the school year.

Former Valley View Principal Wayne Rosby, who temporarily replaced McNabb, will continue to serve as the interim principal for the remainder of the school year.

Urban says the process for selecting new principals will be determined soon.
