I've known I wanted to be a meteorologist since age nine.
As a New England native, my interest in weather was sparked very early on. I grew up in coastal Massachusetts and was constantly boating, camping and hitting the beach.
Getting caught in a few severe storms while camping or on the boat was enough to fuel my desire to learn how to forecast. I've lived through nearly all types of weather from blizzards to heat waves to hail and nor’easters and been excited by them all.
I received my bachelor's degree in meteorology in May 2016 from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire, with minors in communications and mathematics. I learned the ins and outs of TV news as a weather intern at WHDH in Boston, MA.
I am beyond excited to hone my forecasting and presentation skills here in the Black Hills. My goal after graduation was to leave New England and see what different parts of the country have to offer, so here I am!
In my free time I enjoy hiking with my dog Max, spending time in the gym and exploring what my new hometown of Rapid City has to offer.
