Rachael joined the KOTA Territory News team in July 2008.
She began her television career in high school as a reporter for School Zone Dallas for the Dallas Independent School District. Her segment on Young Strings received a Lone Star Emmy.
She is a graduate of Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth from the Bob Schieffer School of Journalism. She wrote features for the newspaper the TCU Skiff and joined the TV production of TCU News Now. She also managed that weird comedy group Senseless Acts of Comedy.
Rachael grew up in Dallas, TX with brief stints in Memphis, TN, Tupelo, MS and Birmingham, AL. She has enjoyed appearing in plays and musicals and composes, writes and sings her own songs. She adores Mexican food and loves to cook.
She misses her cat named Pickle.
