MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Trey Burke scored a career-high 32 points as the Jazz avoided the worst record since moving to Utah 35 years ago with a 136-130 double overtime victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves last night. Gordon Hayward had 23 points. Kevin Martin scored 36 points for the Timberwolves.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The Minnesota Twins' game against the Toronto Blue Jays has been postponed because of expected wintry weather. The Twins announced the postponement with rain and snow in the forecast for last night. It will be made up tonight as the second game of a day-night doubleheader.

MANKATO, Minn. (AP) - A fired Minnesota football coach who got his job back through an arbitrator's ruling is getting a cold reception from his former team. Minnesota State, Mankato head coach Todd Hoffner is back on campus for the first time since last week's ruling. Mavericks players came out for spring practice yesterday afternoon but weren't in uniform.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The Minnesota Lynx have traded second-year guard Sugar Rodgers to the New York Liberty for the rights to swap third-round picks in the 2015 draft. Rodgers was chosen in the second round last season but played only sparingly on a veteran-laden team. She averaged 1.9 points in 7.6 minutes per game last season.
