A Nebraska woman accused of helping her husband steal a KOTA Territory fire truck pleads not guilty in Rapid City Monday.

Matthew and Rowena Schade made national headlines last spring when they fled their Creighton, Nebraska home and spent almost three weeks holed up in the Black Hills.  Along the way, police say they abandoned their own car and stole a Silver City fire truck and drove it back to Nebraska.  Rowena Schade is serving probation for violating probation.  On Monday, she entered a plea of not guilty to charges of grand theft and aiding and abetting grand theft.

Prosecutors says she either stole the truck herself or helped her husband commit the crime. Matthew Schade is now serving for probation violation. They fled Nebraska after being questioned on allegations of domestic abuse.
