VERMILLION, S.D. (AP) - The Department of Contemporary Media and Journalism at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion has earned another six years of accreditation.
The Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications is responsible for the evaluation of such colleges and university programs and unanimously approved USD.
The council said the department is 1 of 114 accredited programs in the world.
